When talking about Thailand, Bangkok, and authentic Thai food, Pad Kaprao (Thai holy basil stir-fry) is always at the top of the list. During this trip, I chose Zeed.STATION, not only for its strong visual identity, but also because it offers authentic Thai flavors with adjustable spiciness—perfect for both locals and travelers.

What We Ordered
Pad Kaprao Set (Choose Your Own Meat) Menu

Each Pad Kaprao set includes:
– Jasmine rice
– Fried egg
– Fried basil
– Soup
– Dessert: watermelon with dried fish
One thing I really appreciate is that you can adjust the spiciness level. For Taiwanese diners who already eat spicy food often, choosing less spicy is actually perfect—it keeps the dish flavorful without overwhelming the palate.
Watermelon with Dried Fish

Cute in appearance and surprisingly delicious. The juicy watermelon contrasts with a slight salty fish aroma, creating an interesting but not weird combination at all. It’s a very Thai-style dessert—unexpected, playful, and memorable.
Crispy Chicken Pad Kaprao(Less Spicy + Extra Fried Egg) ★★★★★

I chose minced beef, less spicy, and added one more fried egg. Traditionally, Pad Kaprao is often cooked with pork, but here the beef works surprisingly well.

The fried basil is lightly crisp from frying, trapping all its aroma inside. When combined with the beef’s rich meatiness, it creates two layers of aroma—herbal and savory. The spice level is gentle, letting the fragrance of holy basil shine. Paired with jasmine rice, it’s incredibly satisfying and very addictive.
Crispy Chicken Pad Kaprao(Less Spicy + Extra Fried Egg)★★★★★

The second set was crispy chicken. It reminds me a little of Taiwanese Three-Cup Chicken, but with a Thai twist—sweeter, spicier, and more savory.

The chicken is deep-fried first, locking in the juiciness, so the outside is slightly crispy while the inside stays tender. This adds an extra layer of texture that makes the dish even more enjoyable.
French Fries with Kaprao Mayo★★★★★

This was my absolute favorite.I never expected Kaprao to pair so well with mayo. The mayo softens the aggressive herbal aroma of the basil, turning it into a creamy, perfectly balanced sauce. When the fries are freshly fried and dipped into the Kaprao mayo, the potato aroma and herbal notes match beautifully. If you visit Zeed.STATION, don’t skip this.
Watermelon Smoothie★★★★★

Fresh, juicy, and not overly sweet. You can clearly taste the natural fruit aroma—refreshing and light, making it a great pairing with spicy Thai food.

Zeed.STATION offers an authentic yet approachable Thai food experience in Bangkok, standing out with its bold all-orange design and flavorful Pad Kaprao. The ability to adjust spiciness makes it especially suitable for travelers who want to enjoy real Thai flavors without being overwhelmed. From the aromatic basil dishes to creative sides like Kaprao mayo fries and refreshing watermelon-based drinks and desserts, everything feels well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared, making Zeed.STATION a solid choice for enjoying Thai food in Thailand.
